“CAN I SUBMIT MY PORTFOLIO?“

Yes. We love to see new artists from all parts of the world. The best way to do this is to send us an email introduction of yourself, with a link to your website, or a PDF to submissions(at)bongout.org

Please, DO NOT send or bring in ORIGINAL WORKS.

 

“HOW SOON CAN I EXPECT A RESPONSE?”

We receive many submissions, and unfortunately may not be able to reply to each one. Currently, our gallery is booking shows approximately one year in advance.

 

“CAN I HAVE A JOB AT A BONGOUT?”

Probably not.

 

“DO YOU OFFER INTERNSHIPS?”

Yes. But they are unpaid. We do offer many life lessons for free. Send your resume in an email with ‘Internship’ as the subject to info(at)bongout.org

 

“IS BONGOUT SOME KIND OF COLLECTIV?”

No. Bongout is an artist run space. Specifically, it is run by two artists, Anna and Meeloo. They have made many Collectiv books possible through maintaining a wide network of artists, designers and musicians.

 

“CAN I SELL MY BOOK HERE?”

We are always interested in expanding our book collection in our shop. However, please look through what we are selling, and assess whether your book would fit into our context. To submit your book for consideration, please mail us a gift copy. Keep in mind this will NOT be returned to you. Our address is Torstr 110, D-10119 Berlin, Deutschland.

 

“WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?”

For our online shop, we accept Paypal, credit card and money transfer. In our Berlin shop, we accept credit, debit cards and cash.

 

“DO YOU ACCEPT TRADE AS PAYMENT?”

Yes. We are open to this idea. Please send us your offer.

 

“CAN I TAKE PHOTOS OF THE ART WORKS IN YOUR GALLERY?”

Yes. We allow photographs of our exhibitions, so long as it is for personal use only.

 

“CAN I RENT YOUR GALLERY SPACE?”

Yes. We have been known to rent out our space for special events. Please contact Cristina at cristina(at)bongout.org

 

“WILL YOU PRINT MY POSTER?”

It’s unlikely, since we primarily print our own work. However, if your project is particularly interesting, we may make an exception. That being said, keep in mind we only print on paper with water based inks.

 

“WILL YOU PUBLISH MY BOOK?”

Probably not. But we are open to hear your pitch.

 

“DO YOU OFFER SILKSCREEN CLASSES IN YOUR STUDIO?”

Not for the moment.

 

“WHAT KIND OF GRAPHIC DESIGN SERVICES TO YOU PROVIDE?”

Our graphic design services are varied and comprehensive. We provide record cover, poster designs, illustrations, logos, in-situ installation and more. Inquire with Meeloo and Anna at studio(at)bongout.org

 

“WHAT DO YOU CHARGE FOR YOUR GRAPHIC DESIGN SERVICES?”

Prices depend on many variants but you can be sure that the money you are paying is for high-quality, uncompromised work.

 

“I NEED SOMETHING DESIGNED YESTERDAY. CAN YOU HELP ME?”

We can usually accommodate your rush job, however, this is dependent on our production schedule. Keep in mind, an additional fee will be added to the normal price.
